I would like to take the opportunity to thank you at Catalyst Construction for building our new and beautiful Ipe deck. The project turned out much better than I ever could have imagined. Jason was extremely helpful in getting us the original plans and selling us on this beautiful Ipe wood. I am totally impressed with both the look and sturdiness of the wood. The crew is methodical and it is obvious they take pride in their work. In addition to obtaining all necessary permits and approvals from the city and our Homeowner’s association, they took pains to ensure that the deck would be able to sustain certain weights and loads . They took the extra time to make sure every hole was drilled, countersunk, and screwed in on my deck. They also finished the deck well within the original budget. Never in my life have I met more professional, honest, trustworthy, helpful and clean workers. They did an outstanding job, always left the worksite neat and tidy and were absolutely wonderful to deal with. The other amazing thing was that neither of them ever smoked or swore while on site. What a wonderful refreshing change. They were very polite, friendly and totally self sufficient. I kept offering them a soda or coffee but they always said no thank you and drank what they brought or just drank water. The whole process from design, to building permit to ordering materials and watching them construct my lovely new deck was really a lot of fun. It has been a real pleasure doing business with you and be assured that I will pass your name around. You provided unbelievably quick service and patiently tolerated our many questions. We highly recommend Catalyst Construction. And, when we hear of someone wanting to build a deck, we will refer them to you. The quality of workmanship by you is outstanding.
